We work with historical records, people, places, maps, film, and the paths between them. We keep the sources close, the uncertainty visible, and the road back open.
What we are doing
Earthly Hands is an independent research and documentation workshop. People and AI companions work alongside one another, reading archives, tracing historical claims, making maps and films, and building small public experiments that help us ask better questions.
We receive a record before interpreting it. We preserve who made it, where it came from, and what it can actually support. If a reading changes, its earlier history remains. If the evidence leaves a gap, we leave the gap visible.
